Each class we will be based out of the Caldwell Dairy Barn at the Florida Agricultural Museum.
This is a community based program that brings parents into the classroom. Co-oping gives students, teachers and parents the unique opportunity to work together in a setting prepared for learning. The teacher will lead the activities and keep the flow of the day on track, while parents help with supervising and assisting.
As a parent what is expected of me while in class?
The parent will be there to assist in activities and provide support to the teacher and students. The parent will be asked to arrive 15 minutes before class and stay 15 minutes after. All parents participating in the program will need to agree to a background check.
What if my job does not permit me to be in class?
If a parent cannot participate in the Co-Op a $50 monthly fee will be charged to supplement the cost of an additional teacher.
