siGN UP FOR WILD EDIBLE WALKS WITH MISSY

MARCH 27 & APRIL 19 9:30AM-12:00PM

Join Flatwoods Forest School founder and Florida Master Naturalist, Missy Clauson, for a guided wild edible walk through the beautiful grounds of the Florida Agricultural Museum.

During this hands-on walk, you’ll learn the ethics of safe and sustainable foraging in Florida, how to confidently identify a wide variety of edible  plants, and—yes—how you can literally eat the weeds growing all around you. We’ll explore what’s edible, what’s medicinal, what to avoid, and how to begin seeing the landscape as a living pantry.

This program serves as a fundraiser for our school and costs $30 per person and is limited to 15 participant.

This walk is designed to be engaging, approachable, and family-friendly, perfect for curious beginners and nature lovers of all ages.

Come walk, learn, and reconnect with the wild foods growing at your feet.
